Any fish is most in harmony with rice, this gastronomic combination can be considered the most frequent and popular among residents of different countries.
From fish, including cod, you can prepare delicious salads with rice and some other ingredients, light and dietary (of course, for this we will not fry the fish, which is called crunching, but we can apply more healthy methods of heat treatment.) It's good to cook salad from cod liver with rice and egg. Such a delicious dish is not just very useful, thanks to the substances contained in the liver, it can generally be considered a delicacy suitable, including, for a festive table. The canned cod liver can be bought at the store (choose the product of well-known manufacturers). Rice is better to buy one that can be cooked crumbly.
Cod liver salad with rice and egg
Ingredients:
- canned cod liver - about 250 g;
- rice boiled, friable - 2 cups in volume of 200-250 ml;
- fruit avocado - 1 pc. medium size;
- leeks - 1 piece;
- sweet red pepper - 1 pc .;
- hard-boiled eggs - 2 pcs. chicken or 8-10 pieces. quail;
- garlic - 1-2 cloves;
- lime or lemon - 1-0.5 pcs .;
- olive oil Extra Virgin;
- fresh greens (rosemary, parsley, coriander, basil, etc.).
Preparation
Let's cut the leeks in circles or semicircles. Just pick the onions with lime or lemon juice. Open the jar with the liver and salt the pouring (you can, of course, use it instead of butter). Chop the liver with a knife. We will clear the fruit of avocado and cut the flesh into cubes, and the sweet pepper - with short straws. The hard-boiled eggs are cleaned and crushed with a knife or egg. Quail can be used entirely and nicely laid around the salad in a salad bowl. Garlic and most of the greenery chopped finely. All the prepared ingredients and rice are mixed in a salad bowl and dressed with oil. If you want to give the salad "Far Eastern" shades of taste, you can replace the olive oil with sesame and add soy sauce. Stir and decorate with greens.
To such an elegant salad you can serve light wines and rice alcoholic beverages.
Cod fillet salad with rice and egg
Ingredients:
- fillets of cod - about 400 g;
- rice boiled friable - about 2 glasses;
- hard-boiled chicken eggs - 2 pcs .;
- olives without pits (green or dark) - about 150 g;
- garlic - 1 clove;
- any dressing: yogurt, classic mayonnaise (preferably home-made), sour- garlic sauce or aioli sauce;
- the greens are different.
Preparation
Cut the cod into small pieces and boil it in any convenient way (this happens very quickly, within 3-5 minutes after boiling). Let's drop it in the colander. Olives cut into circles, crushed eggs, garlic and greens. We'll mix everything in a salad bowl and dress the salad. Garnish with greenery.
