A tablespoon of dough is smeared on a baking tray or substrate with a layer of approximately two millimeters and a cake in diameter of fifteen centimeters. For one approach, two or three wafer cakes are obtained.

Melt the butter and mix with a whisk or mixer with sugar, salt, vanillin and egg yolks. Then add the sifted flour and starch and mix.

In a separate dry and clean container, beat the egg whites to a thick and dense foam and gently put them into the dough.

We put one tablespoon of dough in the center of the heated waffle iron, close it and bake until ready and the desired goldenness. Then we turn off the ready wafer cake with a tube and proceed to baking the remaining portions.
