There is no such person in the world to whom charming Denmark could not make a fabulous impression. If you are planning your trip here, then definitely visit the museum "The World of Hans Christian Andersen". And, if you travel with children, then this landmark is a must for the program.

In 2005, a museum appeared that perfectly reflects the wonderful world of Anderson's imagination and all this thanks to the talent and hard work of the renowned journalist and artist Leroy Ripley. It will not be superfluous to mention that thanks to his efforts, the world saw the Guinness World Records Museum, located in Copenhagen .

The house for the museum room was chosen immediately. It was here, in 1805, that the Danish writer was born and took the first steps towards his fame.

What to see in the museum?

At the entrance to the museum you will be met by Andersen himself, sitting with a cane in a dress coat and a top hat on a bench. This sculptural composition helps create a special fabulous atmosphere. First and foremost, the halls of the museum complex attract great interest, each of which is adorned with the character of the works of this storyteller. During the tour, visitors will learn about the different stages of the literary career of Hans Christian.

By the way, if someone does not know or forgot, the writer always carried a rope with him in case of emergency evacuation. It would seem, why? It's just because he was afraid of fires. So even guests can see it on the exhibition composition. One of the walls of the museum is decorated with a map on which all the countries that have ever published Andersen's creations are marked. Also here there is a special collection in which all copies of fairy tales, published in 120 countries of the world are collected.
