Doors for cottages

Entrance doors for cottages are slightly different from those used in apartment buildings. First, they must be more resistant to breaking, because this issue is more acute. In addition, they should better keep the heat, because they lead from the house directly to the street, and not to the entrance.

As a rule, if it is a wooden door for a dacha, its thickness is not less than 40 mm, and it is made of solid solid woods. For greater thermal insulation and giving a more decorative appearance, they are often supplemented with MDF-lining in 10-20 mm. In addition, the entrance door can be decorated with milled patterns, PVC films of different shades, patina, forged elements and mirror / glass inserts.

And yet, the big demand among the owners of suburban real estate is using metal doors for dachas. Metal, as you know, symbolizes strength and reliability. Alternatively, it can be a combination of wood and metal - the so-called metal doors when there is a metal sheet inside the wooden door or the frame is completely made of metal.

If you need not an entrance, but a terraced door for giving, the most modern and successful solution will be a sliding door. Depending on the exterior of the house, it can be glass, with an aluminum or metal-plastic frame, or deaf and opaque.

Interior doors for cottages

Inside the house, the doors for dachas can be the simplest - wooden, plastic, glass, combined, sliding and swinging. It all depends on your desire and interior. No special requirements, different from the doors for the apartment, are not presented to them.

For example, you can use molded doors as interior doors in a dacha, the feature of which is that they are almost entirely made up of glass, and the frame is made of wood. Also common are paneled interior doors decorated with decorative patterns.
