Gel Artrozilen

Arthrosilen belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs with a prolonged effect, which is used both for oral administration and as an external agent.

Composition and properties of the preparation

The drug looks like a transparent thick gel with the smell of lavender, is available in metal tubes of 30 and 50 grams and is intended for external use. The main active substance of this drug is ketoprofen lysine salt, which is a derivative of the usual ketoprofen, but is absorbed more quickly and begins to act. As part of the gel Arthrosilene contains 5% of the active ingredient and auxiliary additives:

Arthrosilen has an anesthetic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect and is used for local treatment in diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

The drug is contraindicated in pregnancy. It does not apply if the integrity of the skin (wounds, scratches), as well as eczema, wet dermatoses and in case of individual intolerance of any of the components, is violated. Avoid getting the drug on the mucous membranes. Skin treated with Arthrosilene is not recommended to be exposed to direct sunlight, since photosensitivity and the occurrence of burns are possible.

Despite the fact that the therapeutic effect after the application of the gel Arthrosilene lasts 24 hours, it is recommended to apply it twice a day for effective treatment. As the instruction for the use of Arthrosilen, the gel is applied to the skin with a small (up to 5 grams) dose and carefully rubbed, until it is completely absorbed. Without consulting a doctor, it is not recommended to use the gel for more than 10 days.
