Weight Loss Supplements

Now, when losing weight dreams do nothing and at the same time quickly see eye-popping results, all kinds of dietary supplements for weight loss are actively advertised. If you do not already know, dietary supplement is a biologically active food additive that is not a medicinal product and was created to help fight any problem, in this case - with excess weight. Producers promise that it will be possible to change nothing in their diet and way of life, but only take magic pills and lose weight in front of their eyes. Is it possible to trust such promises and most importantly - to what extent are all these dietary supplements and diet pills safe for health?

All supposedly the most effective dietary supplements for weight loss are divided into two types, which we will consider. Nutraceuticals are not very appropriate, but they are not too harmful, but parapharmaceuticals are the most dangerous group of all the "best dietary supplements for weight loss." It is their use that is most dangerous for the body and can lead to very different negative consequences. These substances should be prescribed by a doctor, but those who crave weight loss, often take them uncontrollably.

  1. Nutraceuticals . These are the so-called diet modifiers. In their composition, you can find vitamins, amino acids, various trace elements. That is, in other words, their composition is not much different from multivitamins and complexes to support immunity. The effect of losing weight, they assume due to general improvement in health - but with the same success you can buy and any vitamins.
  2. Synthetic substitutes for food (this is also nutraceuticals). This - semi-finished products, which often complement the previous complexes and supposedly help to better absorb vitamins. However, it has long been known that there is nothing better for the body than natural food, and manufacturers of such "effective" dietary supplements for weight loss are offered to abandon it altogether. The proposed non-natural food is low-calorie and is often rich in fiber, which creates a feeling of satiety. However, go to any pharmacy to buy separately a package of fiber and separately - vitamins will be much cheaper, and the effect is, in fact, the same. In addition, the cellulose can be added to kefir and does not abandon the natural food, giving stress to the body.
  3. Anorectics (parapharmaceutics). Substances that suppress a healthy appetite. They include substances that affect the brain, causing it to send a signal of saturation. These drugs are dangerous because their adoption can produce the most unpredictable effects - from eating disorders to mental disorders. Preparations (Lindax, Obstatus, Meridia, Reduxin) are expensive and have many contraindications, and are also incredibly dangerous if taken without the supervision of a doctor. And there are enough side effects to immediately abandon such a venture - it's insomnia, and arrhythmia, and nausea, and increased pressure, and a depressed state.
  4. Purifying agents (parapharmaceuticals). This includes various teas for weight loss, which are not as dangerous as anorectics. Most often they have a herbal composition and contribute only to a diuretic, choleretic or laxative effect. Due to the fact that they actively remove water from the body, along with the liquid, useful substances, vitamins and trace elements are washed out, which may worsen the general health. Drinking them all the time is by no means worth it.
  5. Fat Burners . They are of two types: some do not allow the body to metabolize fats obtained with food, which can lead to the most unpredictable results (including stool incontinence). The second group is used in fitness - thermogenics and lipotropics. This group causes the body to burn stored fats, however, not doing sports, they are not safe to use.

Weight loss supplements are always a risk of danger. It is much easier and more useful for the body to quit gluttony, control one's diet and exercise.
