Pepper stuffed with cheese

Many people are familiar with the popular recipe of stuffed Bulgarian sweet peppers. Usually peppers are stuffed with stuffing, made from washed rice, crushed, oiled vegetables in a frying pan (onions + carrots), with or without minced meat. Then stuffed peppers are cooked in a saucepan.

And you can cook fresh Bulgarian pepper stuffed with cheese. Without heat treatment, all the vitamins contained in sweet pepper are preserved. In particular, it is important for vitamin C, which in this vegetable is more than in lemon and many other fruits and vegetables.

For the preparation of cheese filling it is better to use pickled cheeses such as feta, or brynza, or even cottage cheese, although variants are possible.

Pepper stuffed with hard cheese, egg and greens

Peppers will be washed under running cold water and cut off the tops with stems. Carefully, without damaging the integrity, we remove the seeds and septa.

Cooking stuffing. Eggs boil hard, cool, cleanse the shell and chop it with a small heavy knife. Cheese three on a grater. Greens and garlic is also chopped. Mix the crushed eggs, grated cheese, chopped greens and garlic with mayonnaise. Season with sweet paprika, hot pepper and other spices in small quantities. Stir the stuffing and stuff the peppers. We spread or expose them (depending on the form) on the serving dish and decorate with greens. An excellent snack for light and strong wines.

Stuffed pepper baked with cheese

Preparation

We do everything the same as described above, just try to make the filling more dense (that is, less mayonnaise). Spread the stuffed peppers on baking sheet and bake in the oven at minimum heat for 20-25 minutes.

Pepper stuffed with cottage cheese, pickled cheese and greens with garlic

You can make a filling of cottage cheese and grated cheese or feta cheese (in a more economical version we use salted cottage cheese). Brynza choose a dense - so it is more convenient to rub or crumble (or grind with a knife).

Pepper my in cold water and cut off the tops, remove the inner septums and seeds neatly, without damaging the fruit box. Although it is possible to cut along and stuff halves.

Now stuffing. Brynza grind in any convenient way, cottage cheese mash with a fork. We cut a piece of greenery, we squeeze garlic through a manual press. Mix all the ingredients and season with hot red pepper, sweet paprika and other spices. If it turned out too dry, you can add a little sour cream or homemade yogurt to the filling. If necessary, add salt and mix thoroughly. Fill the peppers with cheese stuffing and spread or put on a dish. We decorate with branches of greenery. A healthy vitamin snack for light table wines is ready.

If you add to the same stuffing, prepared from lightly salted or pickled pink salmon (trout or salmon), too, will be very tasty. Such a snack is good to serve light dining wines, vodka, gin, aquavit, bitter and berry tinctures. These dishes should not be eaten quickly.
