Homemade marmalade

In store sweets are often a lot of unuseful, for example, unnatural dyes or flavors. Sometimes too much sugar is put in desserts, and sometimes sugar substitutes are added . Proceeding from this, the only way out is to cook sweets on your own. It is not always difficult and costly, for example, home marmalade is prepared very quickly and is cheap. Berry marmalade

A real treat can be prepared from summer berries: cherries, raspberries, strawberries.

The easiest way to prepare marmalade at home with agar agar. Thanks to this component, marmalade does not have to be boiled for a long time, therefore, the maximum amount of useful substances from berries will be preserved. For marmalade, you can choose "substandard" berries - slightly crushed, not very fresh, but in no case spoiled. We sort through them, put them in a colander and rinse well, so that there is no debris left and dirt. Then we remove the sepals from the strawberry, the raspberry has a white core (if it was collected with twigs), cherries have stems and ossicles.

We put the berries in a bowl and pee. You can use a blender or any other device. Next, strain off the skins and seeds, letting the mass through the sieve, add the sugar and begin to cook. When it boils, add vanillin, lemon juice and agar-agar. You can add a sprig of mint or lemon balm, then it will have to be removed.

Boil our mass for about a quarter of an hour (you can for a couple of minutes longer), let cool about half, then shift the marmalade into molds or into a shallow baking tray. Completely cooled down delicacy we clean in the fridge, after which we cut into slices and roll in sugar powder. It turns out a useful berry home marmalade, the recipe is very simple and completely not expensive.

Fruit jujube

Most often, apple apple marmalade is prepared, at home, apples are usually available. However, you can prepare sweetness from pears, plums, peaches, apricots, oranges or fruit juices.

First you need to cook puree from apples. To do this, my fruit, cut into slices, put into a saucepan and, bay water, cook until soft. Do not remove the core and peel - they contain the necessary substance. Puree is wiped through a sieve and begins to boil, gradually adding sugar. When the mass thickens, we shift it onto the baking sheet covered with parchment and send it to dry. Dry in the oven for about 2 and a half hours, then in the same place we cool, turn over and repeat the procedure.

Delicious marmalade can be made at home with gelatin, using juice, in this case it does not need to cook at all - all vitamins will be preserved when heated. For 1 liter of juice we use 3-4 st. spoons of gelatin, and to get chewing marmalade at home, put more gelatin - 5-7 spoonfuls per 1 liter of juice.
