Sunflower salad with cod liver

The festive salad "Sunflower" is probably already familiar to most housewives and saved many in the moments when it was necessary to serve a hearty, beautiful and simple dish. To ensure that your arsenal of such universal recipes is replenished further, we propose to make a variation of the famous salad with cod liver.

We start cooking salad from potatoes, it must be boiled in salted water in uniforms until soft. Soft boiled potatoes are cleaned, cooled and cut into small cubes or rubbed on a large grater.

Eggs boil hard. Separate the proteins from the yolks and rub them on a grater.

Mayonnaise is mixed with a pinch of pepper and finely chopped dill.

At the bottom of the salad bowl we spread a layer of potatoes and water it with mayonnaise. On top of the potatoes, lay out pieces of liver and sprinkle them with crushed egg whites. again cover the layers with mayonnaise and level. The final touch will be the topping of the salad with crushed egg yolk and draw a grid of mayonnaise. In each cell of the grid we put on the olive, and the edges of the lettuce are decorated with potato chips, imitating the leaves of our sunflower.

We boil potatoes in uniforms in salted water. Cool and grate on a large grater. We spread the grated potatoes in the basis of the salad bowl and abundantly water it with mayonnaise. On top of the potatoes lay the finely chopped green onions and fresh cucumber. Grease again layer of lettuce mayonnaise. We spread the liver of cod. Since this product is fat enough in itself, it does not need to be smeared with anything else. Round the salad with boiled eggs. First on "Sunflower" go grated proteins, which should be smeared with mayonnaise and smooth, and then already and egg yolks.

In this form, we put salad "Sunflower" with the liver of cod in the refrigerator soak for a couple of hours, and before serving, frame the edges of the dish with potato chips, and on the layer of grated yolks draw a mayonnaise mesh. Lovers of olives can put their halves in the grid cells - they will simulate sunflower seeds.
