Rambla


Rambla - a street in Montevideo , running along the coast of the capital. It is the visiting card of the Uruguayan capital, which was recently added to the officially not approved list of World Heritage sites.

What's interesting on the Rambla street?

It is located in the south of the Montevideo waterfront. From there, a gorgeous view of the Atlantic opens up. The length of the Rambla is 22 km. Not far from the street is not very busy highway.

This street is rarely crowded with people. Sometimes here you can meet runners, skateboarders, fishermen, cyclists and roller skaters. In the summer season, during the influx of tourists, public order is guarded by a police patrol. There are several restaurants and cafes on the street. From the center of Montevideo you can get here by car in 20 minutes. (street Italy) or by bus number 54, 87, 145 to stop number 2988.
