Pizza dough with milk

Despite the fact that in the traditional recipe for pizza basics, milk is not welcome in any way (and the Italians would probably be horrified to learn that our hostesses practice such recipes), in fact it turned out that the use of dairy products was not so it hurts the future cake for pizza. Moreover, pizza on milk can do without yeast at all.

The rules of mixing and generally working with the test, do not differ from those we described earlier: we sift the flour before cooking, in order to get rid of possible debris and saturate the product with oxygen, we knead the dough for at least 20 minutes, then we must leave it "to rest", so that it becomes soft and elastic.

The time for baking the base for pizza on milk is no different from its classical version: 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown, at maximum temperature.

Recipe for pizza on milk

The dough for pizza according to this recipe will not turn out lush and airy. This option is suitable for lovers of Italian food on a thin and crispy basis.

Milk warmed to warm and diluted in it sugar and yeast, waiting until the mass begins to foam. In the milk mixture, add the egg, a pinch of salt, whisk and cover the sifted flour, while mixing the future dough. We form a ball from the pizza base, put it in a greased container and cover with a wet towel, leave it in a warm place for 1.5-2 hours, or until the dough is doubled in size.

Recipe for pizza dough on sour milk

Pizza, the recipe of which is based on sour milk, turns out to be extremely airy, and the use of sour milk in cooking will benefit from utilizing the stale product.

Sour milk slightly warmed up, to a barely warm, and add to it a teaspoon of soda. In the wake of soda, pour in 1 tbsp. spoon vegetable, or olive oil, add one egg.

In a separate bowl, mix the sifted flour and salt. Gradually pouring the liquid ingredients into the dry ones, knead the dough that will not stick to your hands. Put the dough in a greased dish and leave "to rest" in the heat for at least 15-20 minutes, after which the base can be safely rolled out and complemented with tomato sauce and any fillings to taste.

Pizza in a frying pan on milk

If you do not have an oven, or a special desire to bother with it, then an ordinary pan can be an alternative option for pizza. The dough cooked in this way will remain thin and crispy, and it will not be much different from the version from the oven.

We sift the flour on a clean working surface. We make a "hole" in the hill, in which we pour 100 ml of warm milk, a little melted butter for elasticity, add an egg and a pinch of salt. We knead a sufficiently steep dough, roll it into a bowl and leave it under a damp towel for 20-25 minutes.

To ensure that the pizza base is well fried, the dough should be rolled thinly enough. Fry the base on vegetable oil from one side to a golden color, then turn and lay on the fried side stuffing to taste. All fast pizza in the frying pan is ready!
