Manty with meat and potatoes

Nourishing hot manti - a great dish for the cold season, able to overcome hunger for long hours ahead. In addition, at a time when delicious fresh vegetables are lost from the sale, such recipes become a real find that can be prepared from a scanty assortment of winter fruits. The filling of manti can be the most diverse, but we decided to dwell on a mixture of meat and potatoes, widely available even in cold weather.

Mix the flour with a couple of generous pinch of salt and make a "well in the center". In the hole, pour in the water, then beat the eggs and start kneading the dough with a fork, picking the flour from the edges. After kneading and collecting the dough in a com, set it aside, after wrapping the film.

The filling for manti with potatoes and meat is prepared and that is easier: it is enough as much as possible to cut meat and a bow finely, and then to mix them with slices of a potato, a cumin and salt. Dilute the mixture with water so that the filling is juicy after cooking.

Roll out the rested dough and cut into equal squares. Put a generous portion of the filling in the center of each piece of dough and fasten the edges in any convenient way. Manty with chopped meat and potatoes are brewed in special mantovarkas, which can be replaced with a double boiler or a conventional colander placed on top of a pot of boiling water and covered with a lid. Prepare the dish for about 40 minutes, and serve with butter and an abundance of freshly ground pepper.

In order to facilitate the cooking process, you can use ready-made meat minced meat instead of chopped meat. To the mince we add finely chopped onions and potatoes, pour in water, add the paste from garlic and salt, mix. The dough should be rolled as thinly as possible and cut into small squares. Lay out the center of the filling, collect the edges together and send manties with meat and potatoes to boil for a couple of 7-10 minutes.

Melt butter and mix it with paprika, mint and pepper. Put a couple of spoons of yogurt on top of the mantles and fill it with spiced butter. Tasty manti with meat and potatoes are always hot.
