Duration of treatment is determined with respect to each individual case and on average is from 7 to 14 days. Breast children enterosgel is prescribed for 5 g (one teaspoon) 2 times a day. A single dose for children aged 3 to 5 years is also 5 g, at the age of 5 to 14 years, 10 grams (one dessert spoon), but unlike infants should be taken 3 times a day. In cases of severe intoxication during the first three days of therapy, a dose increase of 2 times is possible.

Enterosgel is usually used in complex treatment with other medicines, including phytopreparations, immunomodulators, adaptogens, as well as bacterial preparations. It should also be noted that with the first intake of this enterosorbent, constipation may occur, in such cases it is recommended to perform a cleansing enema.
