Sauce for shawarma at home
Ingredients:
- mayonnaise (50%) - 150 ml;
- olive oil - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- sour cream (25%) - 130 ml;
- young garlic - 2 teeth;
- mixture of peppers;
- ground basil, coriander, zira - 2/3 tsp.
- fresh dill - bunch.
Preparation
Spread into a deep bowl of sour cream and mix it with a couple of spoons of good olive oil. Then we introduce here the favorite brand of mayonnaise, stirring everything with a spoon.
Tooths of young garlic are wiped through the smallest grater, sprinkle creamy-mayonnaise mixture with a variety of peppers and aromas of dried ground grasses. A bunch of fresh, washed dill is chopped with a sharp knife and also introduced into our sauce, with which it and mix.
We recommend to put the prepared sauce for cooking home-made shawarma in the refrigerator compartment for 1.5 hours before use.
Filling for shawarma at home
Ingredients:
- chicken breast - 1 pc .;
- vegetable oil - 3-4 st. spoons;
- fine salt;
- red, black pepper;
- classic soy sauce - 30 ml;
- orange - 1/2 of one fruit;
- tomatoes - 2 pieces;
- yellow or green bell pepper - 1 pc .;
- cucumbers - 2 pieces;
- marinated onions - 1/2 pcs.
Preparation
The main task for us is to cook delicious chicken meat. Therefore, we take the prepared fresh chicken breast and cut it with a sharp, long knife, like cooking chops. Then these platelets, rubbing with small salt, sprinkled them with two kinds of peppers and put everything in a deep plate.
From half an orange carefully squeeze the juice, add to it the classic soy sauce, mix and pour this mixture of chicken in a plate. We leave it in this form, without removing it in the refrigerator for 40-50 minutes. Then we pour a few spoons of vegetable oil on the bottom of a pan with a non-stick coating and, after it is warmed, we spread the marinated fillet. The meat is browned to a beautiful golden color.
Fresh dense tomatoes cut in half and each of the halves cut into thin slices. From the Bulgarian pepper we remove the cotyledon and cut it into strips in 4-5 millimeters. The same straw we make out cucumbers. All the crushed vegetables we put in one container and we introduce to them in advance the prominated onion. Chilled chicken meat is crushed in the form of long, not very thin strips and send them to vegetables with which it and mix.
