How to determine the type of physique?

In order to competently select clothes, calculate the necessary calories and better understand the characteristics of your body, it is important to know its type. Currently, there are many different classifications that allow you to establish your belonging to a particular type, based on a variety of parameters. However, there is a large number of techniques for how to find out your type of physique.

There is no better way to determine the type of physique on the wrist. This is the part of the body where fat is practically not put off, and measuring its circumference with an ordinary centimeter tape, you can easily determine the belonging of your physique by the type of bone:

  1. Wrist less than 16 cm - asthenic type of build. Such people are called thin-boned. Their bones are thin and light, which is why their normal weight is usually lower than that suggested by the tables of the ratio of height and weight (they are usually created for people with a heavier bone). Usually they are tall, thin, their silhouette is stretched, their legs are long, and they hardly gain weight and easily drop it. The only way to get better for them is to systematically overeat or eat too much high-calorie food.
  2. Wrist from 16 to 18.5 cm - normostenic type of build. This is an average person - average height, without excessive fragility or heaviness. They are prone to fatness, but not too much, so in life it is worth sticking to a reasonable diet with restrictions in sweet and fat.
  3. The wrist is more than 18.5 cm - hypersthenic (brachymorphic) body type. Bone in such people is much broader than that of others, and therefore fragile they can not be called. They are usually of short stature and with small sloping shoulders. They are very prone to fatness and for they need a strict diet. This structure is also called the picnic type of build.

Determining the type of physique is the foundation that any fitness instructor will start with before offering you a special diet and exercise regime. As it is easy to guess, many professionals will have only one glance at you, in order to tell a lot about your structure, and after the measurements you can only make the results more accurate. The types of women's physique can be determined by many other parameters and relationships, but this test is much simpler, more accessible and in some cases even informative than the rest.
