How to plant cucumbers seeds in the ground?
If cucumbers are grown in the southern region, then it is possible to directly sow them in the ground. Do this already at the end of May, when the earth is warm enough, and the cold will recede. Before planting, seeds of cucumbers are soaked for several hours in water for germination. The next day, the seeds that were poured out are ready for planting. The land in the prepared area should be well watered before and after sowing.
But if the summer resident is confident in the germination of seeds, then they can not be soaked, but planted in dry form, this yield is not affected in any way. Do not make deep cucumbers under the cucumbers - it will be enough to cover the seeds for 2-3 cm. In the ground, make holes of the desired depth with a stick or directly with your finger, put the seeds in them and lightly cover the ground, not ramming.
Shoots with this planting will appear about a week later. To be sure that the seeds do not let you down, 2-3 seeds are put in one hole and if all sprout immediately, then the extra ones are removed, leaving only one plant.
How to plant cucumbers in a greenhouse?
Depending on whether the greenhouse is heated or not, a decision is made on the timing of the sowing of cucumber seeds. For heaters, this is March, and for unheated - the end of April, the beginning of May.
If you do not know how far to plant cucumbers in the greenhouse, you should distinguish between vertical and horizontal planting. In the first case, if the bush is tied, it will take at least 40 cm between the plants. But if the cucumbers are free to roam the earth, then at least 60 cm.
