Preparation

Let's say we chose the product that suits us. We put a jar of condensed milk in a saucepan (we remove the paper packing), fill the jar with water so that it completely covers, and light the fire. After boiling, cook at the lowest heat. If necessary, as the boiling-off should be poured water into the pan, so that the bank does not explode.

How much should I cook condensed milk?

If you intend to get a cream for confectionery products with a light caramel shade of medium-thick consistency, it will be enough to boil the condensed milk in the jar for 1-1,5 hours. Boiling for 2-3 hours gives the cream a more dense consistency. In any case, do not boil condensed milk for more than 4 hours.

1. It is convenient enough to cook condensed milk in a can in the pressure cooker .

In a pressure cooker with water we place a jar with condensed milk, close the lid, cook for 10-15 minutes after boiling, cool without opening the pressure cooker (the cooling can take a long time, but cook quickly).

2. You can boil condensed milk in a microwave oven .

To boil the condensed milk in a microwave, be sure to pour it into a special glassware. At a power of 400 watts, half an hour of digestion is sufficient to obtain an average consistency. During digestion, the condensed milk must be mixed at intervals of at least 5 minutes each.

3. You can boil condensed milk in a glass jar .

This method is good for those cases when it is necessary to weld more than 250 ml. We pour condensed milk into a glass jar, put it in a saucepan, (it is desirable to put a small metal stand between the bottom of the pan and the jar). Pour water into the pan, the water level should be higher than the condensed milk level in the jar. Cover the jar with a lid (loosely), after boiling, cook on low heat until the desired consistency.
