How to properly stain eyebrows in shadows?

Eyebrows are not as popular as a pencil, which can be found in the makeup of almost every woman, but this tool has a number of undoubted advantages. Shadows lie softer, painstakingly color the space between the hairs and look more naturally. Also, shadows are indispensable in the case when the hairs of the eyebrows are short enough, but the pencil will look unnatural to them. On the other hand, you can not draw a thin line of shadows, because the owner of thin eyebrows is better to give preference to a pencil, while the owner of wide eyebrows will be more suited to makeup with shadows.

How to use eye shadow?

In fact, it's as easy to paint eyebrows with shadows as with a pencil, it's enough to observe a few simple rules:

  1. The color of the shadows should be darker than the natural color of the eyebrows by no more than 2-3 tones. Since eyebrows often blonde and brown-haired, the most common colors of shadows are light brown and dark brown. Often they are sold in one set.
  2. To makeup had a natural appearance, the shadows should be matte. Brilliant shadows on the eyebrows will look vulgar and unnatural.
  3. For the application of shadows a special rigid brush with short hairs and bevelled edge is used.
  4. Shadows are applied to the entire surface of the eyebrows, but in the case of closely-set eyes, the inner edge of the eyebrow is better to paint with a lighter shade. If the eyes, on the contrary, are widely planted, the reverse method is perfect - when the inner edge of the eyebrow is stained more strongly.
  5. If the shape of the eyebrows does not suit you, make a correction in advance, giving the eyebrows the desired shape. But do not pinch your eyebrows very much, making them too thin, because in this case, neatly make up their shadows will not work.

How to paint eyebrows in stages?

In order to make up your eyebrows, you will need shadows , a tassel with a bevelled edge and a comb-brush:

  1. Comb your eyebrows with a brush.
  2. Type a few shadows on the brush. Distribute the shadows along the line that you want to draw, carefully shading and staining the space between the hairs.
  3. Again, comb your brows, removing excess paint.
  4. Draw a strip of light shadows under the eyebrow line. This will enhance the contrast, make the look more open and expressive.

If desired, the shadows can be fixed with a special wax, gel or varnish to ensure that the makeup is more durable. Also fixing is very useful in case of unruly hairs that do not hold the position specified by combing.
