Crvena Glavic


Montenegro is famous for its rich natural resources. Tourists from all over the world are attracted by the warm sea, high mountains, diverse flora and fauna, numerous beaches. One of the most interesting places in the country can be considered the beach of Crvena Glavica (Plaža Crvena Glavica).

Untouched nature

Crvena Glavica is a small rocky beach lined with pebbles, located near the island of St. Stephen . The territory consists of several undeveloped beaches that hid in bays. The total length of the coastline of Crvena Glavica is 500 m. In a literal translation from Montenegrin Crvena Glavica means "Red Head". The name was chosen not accidentally. The fact is that in the beach area there are sites with sand, which has a reddish tinge. Wild beaches are favorite vacation spots for nudists and lovers of independent travel.

Features of the resort area

The beach of Crvena Glavica, also known as Galia, is located in a picturesque bay, which is surrounded by rocks and centuries-old forests. On its territory a camping is broken up, there is an office for renting sun beds, umbrellas and other equipment, there is a commercial parking. For a fee, you can take a shower. The entrance to Galiu, as well as to the other beaches of Crvena Glavica, is free of charge.

Tips for travelers

We draw your attention to the fact that the descents to the sea in the area of ​​Crvena Glavica are unsafe. They differ in steepness, while they are rather narrow. In order not to fall, take care of the appropriate shoes. For swimming, you need rubber slippers.

How to get there?

You can take the bus to Crvena Glavica from Budva by bus. From the city bus station special flights are sent to the island of St. Stephen. Then 10 minutes walk. If you drive, you can go on a separate trip. To do this, go along the E 65 or E 80.
