American cookies - a traditional delicacy, sold in any confectionery shop in America. Recently, this bakery is gaining popularity and on our expanses, thanks to simple cooking recipes and stunning taste. Typically, the American pastry is a flat cake with splashes of chocolate, but instead, raisins, nuts and dried fruits are also put in the dough.
Today we will tell you how to cook delicious American cookies at home.
American biscuits with chocolate
Ingredients:
- wheat flour - 300 g;
- soda - 1/2 teaspoon;
- salt - 1/4 tsp.
- Butter - 155 g;
- sugar brown - 200 g;
- granulated sugar - 100 g;
- egg - 1 piece;
- egg yolk - 1 piece;
- chocolate drops or dark chocolate chopped - 350 g;
- vanilla - 1 tbsp. spoon without top.
Preparation
We melt the butter on a water bath or in a microwave oven, pour in the sugar and brown sugar and rub it lightly. Then add the egg, yolk, vanilla and whisk until smooth. Now, pouring a little dry mixture, prepared by mixing sifted flour, salt and soda, we start a homogeneous dough. At the end of the mix, add the chocolate. On the parchment covered with oil and greased with a baking sheet spread with a table spoon dough at a distance of not less than five to seven centimeters from each other and bake in a heated to 170 degrees oven for ten to fifteen minutes.
American biscuits with raisins
Ingredients:
- wheat flour - 1.5 cups;
- baking powder - 2/3 tsp.
- salt - 1/4 tsp.
- butter - 100 g;
- granulated sugar - 0.5 cup;
- egg - 1 piece;
- raisins - 100 g;
- vanilla - 1 teaspoon without top.
Preparation
Rinse the softened butter with sugar, add egg, vanilla and whisk until smooth. We throw pre-steamed in boiling water for ten minutes raisins, sifted flour, combined with salt and baking powder and kneading elastic soft dough. With our hands we make cookies and lay them out on a greased baking tray and a parchment lined with parchment. We place in the oven, heated to 180 degrees, for fifteen to twenty minutes.
Ready-made American cookies with raisins are cooled and served with milk or tea.
American Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients:
- wheat flour - 2 cups;
- oatmeal flakes - 3 cups;
- soda - 1 teaspoon;
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp;
- salt - 1/4 tsp.
- butter melted - 1 glass;
- sugar brown - 1 glass;
- granulated sugar - 3/4 cup;
- egg - 2 pieces;
- chocolate chopped - 1 glass;
- Nuts and (or) raisins - if desired;
- vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon;
- cinnamon - 1 teaspoon.
Preparation
Melted butter mixed with brown sugar and sugar. Then add a lightly beaten egg and salt, vanilla extract and cinnamon. In a separate bowl, mix the sifted wheat flour, soda, baking powder and oatmeal, optionally shredded in a blender. We introduce the resulting dry mixture to the egg-and-oil mass,
