Topiary-magnet - step-by-step master class

Today I want to share with you how to make a topiary magnet on a refrigerator. This task is simple and very interesting, if you, of course, have everything you need at hand! Very good look such magnets, not only on the refrigerator, but also on other iron surfaces.

Topiary refrigerator magnet - master class

For work we need:

We begin to make our topiary magnet with our own hands:

  1. We roll sisal balls, small in size, approximately like a 10 ruble coin
  2. From the cardboard we cut out a circle of the size that we would like to see the top of our magnet.
  3. Now we need to glue a magnet and wooden skewers to the base, our circle. Take the magnets and glue them on opposite sides, for balance. We cut the skewers of the required length and also glue them to the cardboard, in the middle, from the bottom. I glue them later so that they do not interfere once more, but when you paste them - it does not matter, it's like who is comfortable!
  4. Immediately prepare the bottom, from the cardboard we cut out the base in the form of a pot and put it off.
  5. On the round billets we glue the sisal balls, scattering the color in a chaotic order.
  6. Now we need to bring beauty, for this we take our flowers and greenery and begin to fantasize!
  7. We decorate the bottom of our magnet. We glue our cardboard pot on the free end of the skewers.
  8. We take the felt and cut out the size, such as the width of our pot, along the length with a margin to back it to glue. We get here such a pot.
  9. The satin ribbon will help us to bring a note of tenderness, we will make a bow from it. It can be made both on a pot and on a stem. Also you can add bugs, birds, maybe some beads, whatever you want!
  10. This is how our remarkable magnet looks in its place.

Magnets can also be made with fruits, which is also actual in the kitchen, from coffee beans , organza, foamiran and polymer clay!

Here is a kind of topiary magnet we got, and I'm sure that you turned out just as beautifully, and most importantly - with your own hands!
