Summer pleases us with many vegetables, including sweet fleshy pepper. But to get fruits, seedlings need to be planted and grown, and in fact almost every vegetable grower for the season meets with various misfortunes, overcoming the beds. The most frequent causes of leaf twisting are:
- Lack of moisture and dry weather. One of the most frequent problems, because of what the leaves of peppers are curled upwards - lack of watering and hot, hot days. In order not to lose precious moisture, the vegetable tries to reduce the evaporation area in this manner. You can help the seedlings if you water it abundantly and sprinkle it with any natural stimulant - Epine, Zircon, Pennant, Heteroauxin, etc.
- Lack of nutrients also does not properly affect the appearance of plants. Most often, the pepper turns yellow and the leaves are curled in the presence of potassium deficiency. You can help the vegetable in this case, if you feed potassium nitrate. 1 tablespoon of the substance must be dissolved in 5 liters of water. For each young plant, you need to use 0.5 liters of watering solution. With a lack of nitrogen, the pepper leaves turn pale, slightly twist around the edges and become covered with yellow specks. The problem is solved by top dressing with humus or ammonium nitrate (10-20 g are taken to a bucket of water).
- Diseases. Often, the leaves of the peppers are curled upward and covered with spots when affected by fungal or viral diseases. Most often, the mosaic virus behaves this way: a leaf of the vegetable is folded in a boat, covered with yellow-brown specks and areas of decay. In this case, it is recommended to treat the beds with a pale 1% solution of manganese (prepared based on 10 liters of water, 1 g). - Pests. One of the most common causes of leaf folding in pepper is pests. Aphids usually settle in whole columns on the back surface of the leaves. Spider mite see

- solution of laundry soap (200 g of the product is ground and dissolved in a bucket of water);
- infusion of garlic (crush 200 g of teeth or arrows, pour 10 liters of warm water and insist a day).
