Nut cutlets - recipe

Cutlets can be cooked not only from meat, fish or vegetables, but also from nuts. Such a delicious dish as lean walnut cutlets will be especially appreciated by vegetarians of various meanings, fasting and simply gourmets. Fasting can be done in different ways and in different degrees, so it should be noted that the addition of such a product as cheese is still highly desirable. The production of cheese from milk does not threaten the life of living things, and cutlets with it will turn out, definitely, more delicious.

We will tell you how to make cutlets from walnuts, although, of course, you can use some other types of nuts, for example, wood or peanuts (which, strictly speaking, is not a nut).

Lightly heat the kernels of nuts in a dry frying pan. Peanuts must be peeled and roasted somewhat longer than walnut kernels. Grind the nuts in the mill, not necessarily to the state of flour, better to the state of small grains such as manki, then the stuffing will get an interesting texture. Bread crumb soaked in water, and preferably - milk, then lightly squeeze it and knead it (with a fork or in a blender).

Potatoes are cooked "in a uniform", cool with cold water, peeled and kneaded with a fork. Cheese rub on the middle grater. All the ingredients are mixed in a bowl. Lightly add salt. Add sesame, spices and garlic.

Further, we have two options. Since all the prepared ingredients can be eaten without frying (as we remember, this kind of heat treatment, to put it mildly, is not useful), we can add a little melted butter to the bowl and mix everything thoroughly. Form the cutlets, roll in breadcrumbs . And it is better - in a nut flour and, not frying, to lay out on a serving dish, having issued greens.

Well, if you want, you can fry both sides in a frying pan in oil, or bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at a temperature of about 200 degrees Celsius. Especially it makes sense if you decide not to fast and added to the cutlet minced meat egg.
