Ligol for cats

Ligfol is a drug belonging to the group of immunomodulators, has an antitumor effect, promotes the improvement of the course of regeneration processes, activates the immune system. The drug is not toxic, in the treatment of cancer in cats is effective in combination with cytostatics.

Rules for the use of Ligol

There are clear instructions for the use of Ligol for cats. If the drug is used to perform antitumor therapy, then the rate of use is 0.1 ml / kg of animal mass. One course will require 6-8 injections. The course of treatment is prescribed by a veterinarian, establishing the type of tumor, the stage of the disease, the condition of the animal. Typically, the injection is administered 1 time per day, every third day. The same dose of the drug requires treatment for problems with the liver and pancreas.

To restore regenerative processes, the affected areas are lubricated as needed, but at least 4 times a day. In this case, the drug can be used both in pure form and 50% concentration.

Instructions for the use of Ligol for cats in surgical practice advises to inject a drug once, 5 days before the operation, in order to facilitate the tolerability of anesthesia and prevent stress. Immediately after the operation, it is recommended to do a second injection of Ligol, and a day later - the third. Further it is desirable to conduct a course of preventive injections, consisting of 5 injections, every 7 days. Simultaneously with injections, the postoperative suture should be treated with the drug.

Ligfol can be combined with other drugs used in surgery and therapy, and fodder additives for cats. With proper observance of the instructions for the use of the drug, no side effects or complications in cats have been identified.

Ligfol's injections can be very painful, the cat can exhibit anxiety, which lasts for 5-10 minutes.
