The first way - immediately to the ground
- For the planting of an avocado stone, we prepare a pot with sandy or loamy soil. This is to ensure that water does not stagnate.
- We deepen the seed in the ground by 2/3, with a blunt end down.
- After planting, it should be watered often enough to avoid drying out the topsoil, but do not allow waterlogging.
- We put the pot with the seed in the darkened place. An obligatory condition for sprouting avocados is the air temperature - + 20-22 ° C. In this case, the germ should appear after 1-2 weeks.
2nd method - with preliminary germination
- Pure bone pierced in four sides with toothpicks, dipping them 4-6 mm.
- We collect shallow water with water and put the received structure on top. Water should cover half of the germinating seed.
- About a month later, a root appears, and after 3-4 weeks - a sprout that will grow rapidly up. Bone will naturally crack, but it's normal.
- After the 2-leaf leaves appear on the germ, we transplant the pot, leaving the stone on the surface.
