The game in "House" is a favorite pastime of girls of preschool and primary school age. Sometimes boys are also enthusiastically involved in the game. There is not such a young lady who would not dream of owning her own house. Of course, in any toy store you can buy a ready-made, factory-made house. But it is much more interesting to make a house out of a cardboard box with your own hands, and even attract the very little one to its arrangement. How to make a house out of the box, we will consistently tell.
You will need:
- a large cardboard box for household appliances;
- sheets of A4 paper;
- white, green and dark paint for painting the wallpaper (but any other water-soluble paint will do);
- pages with bright illustrations from used children's books (or scrapbooking paper with a picture);
- stationery knife;
- ruler;
- graphite pencil;
- glue PVA or any universal;
- container-cuvette for coloring paper.
How to make a house out of the box?
- In the prepared box, we plan with a ruler and cut out a large knife-arch (door) on one of the sides with a stationery knife, and on two sides we make small window openings.
- Pages from old children's books are equal and pasted inside the house (you can use paper with a small pattern for scrapbooking or the remains of wallpaper).
- Of course, the window openings are not sealed!
- For the manufacture of tiles for gluing the house we are baking paint. For greater effect, we make tiles of several color shades. To get a lighter shade, add white paint to the green (or the one you chose).
- Tile for gluing the house from the outside, we paint in the bath, let it dry (you can use also sheets of finished colored paper, but the child will be interested in participating in the painting process).
- We glue the walls with PVA glue, alternating sheets according to shade, well sealing the folds and cuts on the box.
- The glued house should look neat!
- Similarly, we paint the sheets with dark paint and paste them on top of the box. The roof of the house is ready!
- Cut out a symmetrical figure of two dark sheets of paper and paste it on the back wall of the box.
- Draw a rectangle on the pasted figure, cut out along the lines. The window in the platband is obtained.
- We paste "grass" on the bottom of the house.
- You can sew curtains to the windows. The furnishings can be made up of self-made furniture or furnish a house with a small doll-sized furniture.
A children's house out of the box for long interesting games is ready! And you have made a step to rapprochement with your own child, because nothing makes people closer than joint useful activities.
