Hot sandwiches with minced meat

Better, of course, to buy meat and cook the mincemeat yourself, passing it through a meat grinder - so you will be assured of its quality. We use for this pork, young beef, you can add chicken. We also pass onions and garlic through a meat grinder. We add eggs and half grated cheese. Season with minced meat spices, do not salt, in the cheese is enough salt.

Each slice of bread is sprinkled with cheese - it will well "glue" a layer of minced meat to a slice of bread. On top carefully place an even layer of stuffing. Equal with a table knife. The preferred thickness of the forcemeat layer is about 1-1.5 cm. If the layer of forcemeat is thicker, it will be necessary to slightly increase the baking time.

Sandwiches lay out on a dry baking tray (it would be good to spread it with baking paper and / or grease with lard, but not with vegetable oil). Bake sandwiches with minced meat in the oven for 20 minutes at a temperature of about 200 degrees C. Turn off the fire and remove the baking sheet from the oven.

Do not remove from the baking sheet, sprinkle each sandwich with cheese and decorate with greens. Return the baking sheet with the sandwiches to the cooling oven for another 5-10 minutes. The cheese should only melt, and not melt completely. Ready to put hot sandwiches on the dish, a little cold and serve to the table. They can be served both with tea or coffee, and with a glass of table wine or beer.

Hot sandwiches with minced fish are prepared in exactly the same way, with the same proportions and sequence of actions, as in the first recipe (see above). Fish should not be too greasy and, of course, fresh (or freshly frozen). In the minced fish can add anise and fennel - these spices are well combined with fish. Bake such sandwiches, probably, will be a little faster - for 15-20 minutes.
