Medical diets are specially made menus that take into account the specific diet of people with certain diseases. The purpose of their creation was the aspiration of doctors to prevent relapses, and also to help patients to strengthen the body, normalize well-being and return to the usual rhythm of life as soon as possible.

Are there any differences between therapeutic diets and dietary tables?

According to medical terminology, therapeutic diets and dietary tables are, in fact, the same thing. Therefore, if we are talking about the diet table № 1, 2, 3, etc., then we mean just a diet menu of a certain type.

Healing diets by numbers with description

The main therapeutic diets are food systems under numbers 1-14, table number 15 is rarely prescribed, as it is simply a sparing regimen that does not provide for specific medical recommendations.

  1. No. 1 (subspecies a and b). The appointment is a stomach ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcer. Features: the regime provides for 5-6 receptions of warm (but not hot) food, mostly on the menu, the cleaned, chopped and boiled (steam) dishes are served, and the consumption of table salt is limited to 8 g per day.
  2. №2 . Appointment - gastritis of different types, colitis and enterocolitis. Features: basic dishes - soups made from cereals and mashed vegetables on the water, steamed meat and fish, sour-milk products of low fat content.
  3. № 3 Purpose - chronic constipation . Features: basic dishes - raw and boiled vegetables, bread of their rough flour, fruits (dried fruit), sour-milk products, cereals from whole grains, plentiful drink.
  4. No. 4 (subspecies a, b and c). Purpose - chronic intestinal disorders and other diseases of the intestinal tract, accompanied by diarrhea. Features: several times a day to drink strong tea and coffee with breadcrumbs, additionally prescribed vitamins B 1-2, nicotinic acid.
  5. № 5 (subspecies a). Purpose - liver and gallbladder disease. Features: food should be thoroughly crushed, the basis of the diet is viscous porridge and soups, sour-milk products, boiled and baked vegetables, fats are limited to 30 grams per day, salt to 10 grams, sugar to 70 g.
  6. №6 . Purpose - urolithiasis, gout. Features: abundant drink - at least 2-3 liters, limit the amount of salt - up to 6 g per day.
  7. No. 7 (subspecies a and b). Purpose - jade of different types. Features: basic dishes - vegetable soups, low-fat boiled meat, cereals, dried fruits , honey and jam instead of pure sugar.
  8. №8 . Appointment - pathological obesity. Features: the exclusion of fast carbohydrates from the diet, reducing the consumption of fats to 80 grams per day, be sure to eat raw vegetables and fruits.
  9. №9 . The purpose is diabetes mellitus of all types. In general, the diet is similar to the previous version, but the amount of carbohydrates is slightly larger - up to 300 grams per day.
  10. №10 . Purpose - pathology of the cardiovascular system. Features: reduced consumption of salted, smoked and fatty foods.
  11. №11 . Purpose - tuberculosis. Features: an increase in the number of dairy and animal protein, an additional intake of vitamin-mineral complexes.
  12. №12 . Intended use - nervous disorders associated with impaired functions of the nervous system. Features: complete removal of fatty, spicy food, alcohol, tea and coffee from the diet.
  13. №13 . Purpose - acute infectious pathology. Features: the basic become dishes with a high content of vitamins and protein.
  14. №14 . Purpose - kidney disease associated with the formation of stones. Features: products that are rich in calcium and alkaline substances are excluded - dairy and vegetable soups, smoked meat, salty dishes, potatoes.
