Enteritis - symptoms

Inflammatory processes in the small intestine, provoked by various pathogens, parasites or mechanical injuries, cause enteritis - the symptoms of the disease include a complex of phenomena that characterize the acute or chronic form of pathology. The latter, as a rule, develops gradually due to lack of treatment.

Symptoms of acute enteritis in humans

This type of disease manifests itself in the form of clearly expressed and suddenly emerging signs:

In the absence of additional bowel diseases and complications, the symptomatology disappears rather quickly, especially if the treatment is started on time.

There are various forms of described pathology, so it is important to correctly diagnose the disease. Some species affect animals only. For example, the symptoms of parvovirus enteritis are observed exclusively in dogs, the person is only a carrier of the pathogen and does not suffer from this type of disease.

Symptoms of chronic intestinal enteritis
