What is the New Year without children's holidays? And what children's holidays do without dancing, laughter and carnival costumes? Today we will teach you how to make a children's New Year costume of a sheep - a symbol of the upcoming 2015 - with your own hands.
We will make a sheep suit for a girl, and for him we will need:
- felt or felt of white and black colors;
- hair hoop black in medium width;
- glue gun or glue for fabric;
- Velcro or ribbon for strings;
- cotton ball;
- Strong thread and needle for sewing.
Let's get to work.
- Let's start work from the torso of our sheep. For him we need a white vest. If there is a suitable ready - wonderful, no - also it does not matter. We find on the Internet a suitable pattern and we cut out the vest from felt yourself. We sew all the seams of our waistcoat several times so that they can withstand the weight of the cotton balls with which we will glue the sheepskin suit. Sew to the waistcoat with a velcro fastener or two bandages-ribbons. We also take into account that the zipper at the waistcoat will be on the back.
- The head of our sheep will be decorated with such a bezel for hair.
- To make it, cut out a white felt felt circle with a diameter of 8 cm and glue it with cotton balls. Then we glue the felt wheel to the center of the rim.
- The ears of our lamb will be two-sided - white on one side and black on the other. For each ear, we cut out two teardrop-shaped billets from felt and spend them on a sewing machine. Now we need to firmly attach the ears of our sheep to the rim for the hair, gently sewing them and pasting them for reliability.
