The rules of the classic version of the board game "Monopoly" are quite simple, but all players may need some time to sort them out.

Detailed rules of the game in the classic "Monopoly"

Economic board game "Monopoly" obeys the following rules of the game:

  1. First, each participant chooses a chip for himself, which later moves across the field to the number of moves that he scored on the dice. All its further actions are determined by images arranged in a certain order on the playing field.
  2. The first player is the player who was able to throw the most points on the dice. Further all moves are made clockwise.
  3. In the event of a double, the player must make a move twice. If the double more than 2 times in a row, he will have to go to jail.
  4. When the first playing field passes, each participant receives a salary. In the classic version, its size is 200,000 game money.
  5. A player whose chip was on the field with a free real estate object has the right to purchase it or offer it to other participants.
  6. Before the commencement of any move between participants, a transaction may be made for the exchange or purchase and sale of real estate.
  7. Ownership of a monopoly, that is, all objects from one category, significantly increases the amount of levied rent and, accordingly, the income received.
  8. If the chip hits the "chance" or "public treasury" fields, the player should pull the card out of the desired stack and perform the actions indicated on it, and if the "taxes" field falls, pay the corresponding amount to the bank.
  9. Every player who fails to pay off his debts is declared bankrupt and leaves the game. In the classical version, the one who wins the most for the rest and keeps his capital wins.

Of course, the classic version of the game may seem too difficult for preschoolers. In this case, the children's board game "Monopoly" is most often used, the rules of which very closely resemble the above.
