At first glance, the phrase "speech etiquette" and "culture of communication" seem to come from times when French words and white powdered wigs were in vogue. But in fact, we all use certain rules of etiquette, because communicating with colleagues at work and management, we do not use the same speech speed as in casual chatter with friends or relatives. So the knowledge of the basics of communication norms is relevant in our time.

The main features of Russian speech etiquette are tact, tolerance, consistency and benevolence in the conduct conversations. These qualities are accepted to reflect not only when selecting colloquial formulas, but also in the intonation of spoken phrases. Any conversation passes through 3 stages: the beginning of the conversation, the main part and its completion. At each stage, their speech clichés are used, reflecting the goals of the conversation and the interlocutors' relations. Also the role is played by time, the topic of conversation and the place of communication. Particularly often underestimate the last point, forgetting that in some places the conversation will obey its laws. Everyone knows the ceremonial phrases that are exchanged during secular parties, but they will be completely out of place in business negotiations or a youth party.

From the side it may seem strange to want to invent some rules, and then diligently observe them. But in fact, it is these laws that help us better formulate our thoughts and communicate them to the interlocutor. In business communication, observance of the rules of speech etiquette will speak about the high level of corporate culture and the impeccable reputation of the company, leaving a favorable impression about it.
