Stepper for the house

Many believe that having a simulator at home is expensive, inconvenient, takes up a lot of space and is generally useless. However, if you seriously decide to deal with your body, it is much easier to buy a stepper for a house once than to allocate funds every month for an expensive subscription to a fitness club. In addition, if you need time to visit the gym, plus you need to get there, then the stepper is always there, and you can study without looking up from your favorite movie!

Simulators for home: stepper

Home stepper is, perhaps, the best option. It does not take up so much space as an exercise bike, it does not make noise like a treadmill, and it also uses a lot of muscles. Its name is derived from the English word step, which in translation stands for a step - this explains the essence of the simulator: doing it on it, you simulate walking on the steps. Steppers themselves are of different types:

  1. Stepper . This cardio simulator has two pedals that allow you to simulate walking on stairs and special handrails to maintain balance. With the help of handrails it is convenient to keep the body in a slightly tilted forward position - this is exactly what it should be when doing stepper exercises.
  2. Mini stepper . This is the most accessible and the most compact version of the simulator. It consists of only a pair of pedals, which allow you to simulate walking on the stairs, and a small screen that displays various indicators. The advantages of such a simulator is low cost - about $ 70, as well as a tiny size that allows you to fit a stepper in any home. Hands can be occupied with exercises with an expander and achieve a more complex load distribution.
  3. Elliptical stepper . This option involves not imitating walking on the steps, but moving the legs along an elliptical trajectory. This allows you to achieve the greatest effect of training for the main muscle groups, because the shins, hips, buttocks, press, as well as the muscles of the shoulders, arms, chest and even back will be involved. Such a professional stepper allows you to perform movements in which the leg is always half-bent, which gives a minimal load on the joints of the legs. In addition, such a simulator can be engaged in two directions - forward and backward, so that the work includes a variety of muscles.

This simulator is referred to cardio, because the stepper perfectly trains the respiratory and cardiovascular system, increasing endurance.

What muscles work in the stepper class?

If we are talking about an elliptical stepper - this model, as already mentioned above, involves all the muscles of the body in varying degrees, and the load distribution can be changed by a step forward or backward. Classic and miniature versions of the main load is given on the shins, hips and buttocks, as well as the press.

How to practice on the stepper?

To achieve the most rapid and noticeable effect, training on a stepper should be daily or pass at least 4-5 times a week. If you do less often, the effect will grow very slowly, which means that your motivation will fade - when you see that the works are not in vain, you want to try even harder!

If you use a stepper for weight loss, training should be at least 30-40 minutes. However, at first you will find it difficult to deal with even during such a time, so you can divide time into two approaches: 15-20 minutes in the morning and the same in the evening. In this case, losing weight with a stepper will be much faster!

If you use a stepper for the buttocks, thighs or drumsticks, 20-30 minutes daily is enough to bring the muscles into tone and make the figure more appetizing and attractive.
