How to mix henna and basma for painting?

Preparation of the coloring mixture consists in pre-mixing dry henna and basma and diluting them with boiling water to a thick, uniform state.

The ratio of henna and basma for different shades:

  1. Black color - 3 parts of basma and 1 part of henna. To sustain not less than 3,5 hours.
  2. Dark chestnut color - 1 part of basma or slightly less and 1.5-2 parts of henna. To sustain 1,5-2 hours.
  3. Chestnut color - 2 parts of basma and 1 part of henna. Stand for 1.5 hours.
  4. Light chestnut color - one part of basma and henna. To sustain 1 hour.
  5. Light-brown color is also the same ratio of henna and basma, but the time for maintaining the dye on the hair should not exceed 30 minutes.

It should be noted that after staining the hair with henna and basma, it is undesirable to use hard alkaline shampoos and hair care products.
