Snail from felt - pattern and master class

A nice snail with a bright sink-house will fit well into the interior and replenish the collection of handmade toys . Sew such a snail can be in one evening from small pieces of felt.

For the production of a snail you will need:

• Feather of white, yellow, pink, red, green and orange colors;
• paper, pencil and scissors;
• sintepon;
• thread and needle;
• two black beads.

Operating procedure:

1. The pattern of the future cochlea made of felt consists of a shell and a trunk, we cut them out of paper.
2. On the pattern, we will cut out two pieces of the torso from a white felt.
3. Two parts of the shell of the cochlea will be cut out of yellow felt.
4. From color pieces of felt we will open flowers and leaves to decorate the sink.
5. We sew the white threads of the part of the trunk of the cochlea, leaving a hole underneath.
6. Fill the torso with the synthepone.
7. Sew a hole.
8. On the details of the shell with red thread we sew a spiral line.
9. We will sew additional lines dividing the shell into sectors.
10. We sew flowers and leaves to the sink.
11. We sew this detail of the shell with the second part with yellow threads. Below on the sink leave the hole.
12. Fill the sink with sintepon.
13. Sew a hole on the sink.
14. Sew a shell to the body.
15. Sew a snail of eyes from beads and we will embroider a mouth.

A snail of felt is ready. To produce it, you can use other colors of felt. A collection of snails of different colors and sizes will look good on the chest or on the shelf.
