In the white surface this seam is used for the contour of the pattern, the stitch length is 1-2 mm. If the pattern consists entirely of a seam, the length does not exceed 8 mm.
  2. Seam "for the needle." Continuous row of stitches. The needle moves from right to left, make the first stitch and pass the same length. Next, the needle is removed at the same point as the first stitch end. The stitch is twice as long as the stitch.
  3. Stem seam. This seam is used for embroidering contour patterns. The seam forms a continuous series of oblique stitches that fit snugly together.
  4. "The goat". This seam is used for embroidery stems and flower cores. The stitches are located from left to right. Punctures in the tissue are made alternately one at a time and along the second edge of the strip. In the middle of the strip, the stitches cross.
  5. "Lace". The stitch is performed in two steps. The first to stitch the stitches with a "forward needle". The distance between the stitches is half as long as the stitch itself. Next, a needle and a thread are brought under each stitch from top to bottom. The fabric is not pierced.
  6. Embroidery of colors by a smoothing is carried out with application of several types of a stitch. To do this, use a seam "goat", a stalk joint, "nodules." Often flowers are embroidered with threads of two shades. In this case, stitches of the same color are mixed with stitches of a different color. Stitches make different lengths, this makes the transition imperceptible.
