Surely, at least once, you've seen a cat without a tail, and your heart shrank with pity. But, not always this kind of animal is the result of a cruel attitude toward it. In the world of cats, there are a number of breeds, the distinctive feature of which is precisely the absence of the tail. Breeds of cats without tail
The most popular and widespread breed of cats without a tail is Bobtail, which has several types:
- American Bobtail. A cat of strong constitution with a short tail resembling a stump. Thick wool (can be short and medium length) is of a variety of colors. With formidable appearance, they are extraordinarily mild;
- Kurilian Bobtail . Has a tail in the form of a pompon. Very active animal with dog habits (likes to bring objects, walk);
- Thai (Mekong) bobtail. Externally - a copy of the Thai cat, if you do not consider a circumcised tail. Each tail of this breed has a unique tail - with bends, hinges and kinks;

- Menckian cat. A cat can have any color of wool. It is characterized by a complete absence of the tail. The breed has several subspecies - the ramp (instead of the tail and a hollow), the tail (stump-stump), the stump (very short tail).
