How to cook potato cakes? Take a bowl, pour kefir, add salt, egg, sifted flour in advance and mix everything thoroughly until smooth. Potatoes peeled off, rubbed on a small grater and put into a bowl with dough. Hard cheese three on a small grater and also put in a bowl. Then we clean the peeled onion, finely chopped, add to the bulk. All the ingredients are mixed, we put dried herbs to taste.
In a frying pan, warm the vegetable oil well and spread the dough with a spoon, forming small cakes. Fry the potato cakes from two sides to the formation of a ruddy golden crust. Before serving, put them on a plate, pour sour cream and sprinkle with chopped greens. Such cheese cakes can be served both as an independent dish, and as a basis for snacks, laying on top a variety of fillings to your taste.
Cakes with potato stuffing
Ingredients:
- mashed potatoes - 300 g;
- flour - 100 g;
- egg - 1 piece;
- salt - a pinch;
- rosemary - at will;
- vegetable oil.
Preparation
In the finished mashed potatoes add egg, flour, salt, rosemary and knead a homogeneous dough. Next, we grease the hands and the table with vegetable oil and divide the dough into approximately 6 balls. From each we form a thin flat cake and transfer them to a baking sheet covered with paper. Lightly puncture each cake with a mashed potato fork and bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven to 220 degrees.
