New Year garlands

How to make a New Year's garland by yourself? Everything is quite simple, if it is, of course, the paper New Year's garlands. There are several varieties of Christmas tree garland that you can easily make with your own hands, but for all of them you will need threads, colored paper, scissors and glue.

Volumetric garland

At all, probably, there is even one purchased garland, three-dimensional, from a color foil. And did you know that it's very easy to make such a New Year's garland at home, both from colored paper and foil, only when working with the last material for bonding we will need not a glue, but a stapler.

1. Cut out several colored circles from colored paper. Fold the circles in half, then again and again.
2. Draw on the resulting sector 8 incisions, so that they alternate - one on the left, the other on the right. We make cuts along the drawn lines.
3. We unfold the circles and begin to fasten them in pairs, applying glue to the folding points on the lower loose (single) strips.
4. Pulling each piece by the middle, you will get an openwork bead. Having made the necessary quantity of such balls, we fasten them, gluing together the centers.

Christmas garland of colored paper is ready!

Paper garland with figurines

Such New Year garlands are very easy to make by yourself.

1. Fold the colored paper with an accordion.
2. Draw a figure from which we want to make a garland.
3. Cut out the paper image on the outline, of course, leaving the sides intact.
4. Straighten our garland.

Garland of Balls

1. Cut from the colored paper 4 circles (you can and more, in this case, the ball will be more voluminous and more beautiful).
2. Fold each of them in half and twist the ribs with each other to make a ball, before forgetting to insert in the middle of the figure thread.
3. In this way, make enough balls to make the garland the length you need.

Garland-accordion

1. Cut out the same rectangles from colored paper.
2. Fold them with an accordion with a width of strips of 1.5-2 cm.
3. We fold the accordion in half and glue its inner sides, so that the fan turns out.
4. Having made the necessary number of such fans, we glue their lateral sides, placing fans, each other upside down.
5. Garland-garmoshka ready!

Garland chain

Such garlands can be done in two ways.

Method 1

1. We cut from a colored paper strips of the same length and width.
2. We glue them together with rings, engaging one another.

Method 2

1. Cut out of paper two circles, connected by a jumper (the figure will be similar to round glasses).
2. We bend the figure in half - this is the first link in the chain. We also do other links.
3. Now we collect a garland, passing one link to another. Glue is not needed here (well, if only the ends of the garland are glued), the links will be kept at the expense of the jumpers.

Garland "Snowfall"

And another decoration, familiar to everyone from childhood. For its manufacture we need one long string, several short threads, cotton wool and glue.

1. To the long string we tie short threads through small gaps.
2. We make balls of the same size as we want snowflakes.
3. We string the cotton balls on short strings, fixing the bottom of the thread with a drop of glue.
