Crafts from twine own hands

Crafts made from jute or paper twine with their own hands are extremely simple to manufacture and are available to almost everyone. It can be toys for children, interior decorations, useful things in the household, like vases and baskets - it all depends on your imagination and desire. Thanks to the natural color of the natural material, twine products made by themselves are ideally suited to pastoral interiors, perhaps with some shades of country and ethnicity. To give them originality, ready-made crafts can be blossomed with acrylic paints.

Crafting a horse from twine - a master class

To make a horse, we need:

Progress:

1. The twine is reeled on a cardboard or a book, so as a result we get:

2. A piece of wire 40 cm long bends from one side and cut - it will be the hind legs. For the front legs, cut one vein and take a piece 32 cm long, fix the front legs, leaving the end of a large piece for the head of the horse.

3. We wind the middle of a winding 50 cm long with a red thread so that the knot is inside. Inside the winding insert the uncut end of the wire and begin to tightly wrap it with a red thread and twine.

4. Through a winding of a red thread we pass a thin strip of skin - a bridle.

5. Winding the wire, pre-detach the front legs, and then fix them on top of the winding.

6. We throw on the wire winding for the front legs.

7. Tightly wrapped in twine.

8. The twine ends can be twisted with a knot and fixed with glue.

9. We take the winding for the chest and hind legs and we put on the place where there should be a breast.

10. We wind the hind legs with the twine, distributing the threads evenly.

11. The back part can be lengthened, wrapping an additional twine.

12. Wrap the tail for the lower abdomen.

13. Fix the base of the tail, tying a separate thread.

14. If necessary, we trim the legs so that the horse is stable.

15. Additionally we wrap the body with twine.

16. Cut out strips of braid for experience on the lap.

17. We glue the strips at the very bottom.

18. From the skin we cut out the ears in the form of a figure eight in length 4 cm.

19. Glue the ears just below the upper red winding.

20. Glue the mane - from the ears to the neck and to the back.

21. From the skin we make a blanket and a saddle. The horse is ready.

Cute horses can be made in another way, for example from stitching out of felt or weaving of beads .
