Irga is a real storehouse of useful properties and nutrients. And not only these dark berries are in demand, but also leaves with bark. In order not to run around the shops and pharmacies in search of these wonderful natural assistants, we suggest that you plant an Irgu on your site. Just before you become acquainted with our article, in which we will tell you the most important thing about planting and caring for an Irga ordinary.

Choose a place for planting irgi

Irga is very fond of light, so the place for it must be picked up well-lit. The soil on the selected site should be rich and fertile. Loamy or sandy loamy soil is perfect if it does not lack moisture. Take into account that the wrong choice of soil can lead to the fact that your bushes will grow poorly, and the fruits that will soon appear will be small.

Landing of Irgi

Irgas can be planted in both autumn and spring. It's up to you to decide. Some gardeners believe that planting an Irgu at the end of September, it will be hardened and strong. Others hold the opposite opinion and say that the irga planted in early May is better accepted, and also tolerates winter more easily.

When planting the animals, try to keep the distance between the bushes about 1.5-2 meters, of course, if your goal is not to grow a hedge from it. Wells for planting irgi should not exceed 40 cm in depth, and diameter is required about 0.5-0.7 meters. To properly land, read the rules below.

  1. Put the seedling in the center of the fossa, gently spread its roots.
  2. The soil that the young Irg is about to sprinkle with must be mixed with humus and ash.
  3. Falling asleep with the syringa seedlings, it will be nice to shake it periodically - so the earth will lay tight around.
  4. Do not forget to control the smoothness of the fit, and also take care not to exceed the level of the root neck. The ideal option would be a small elevation above the ground.

After the seedlings are in the ground, they will need to be well watered. Then the procedure is carried out by mulching with a peat or a humus (mulching is the covering of roots and the top layer of soil with a special material). To add a young plant to the balance, use two pegs, to which you can tie the Irgu for the first time.

Care for Irga

First of all, let's talk about watering, its abundance and duration.

  1. Until the igra grows by 5-10 cm, it should be watered abundantly. Focus on the weather.
  2. As soon as they notice that the igra has grown, it is necessary to reduce the amount of liquid and make sure that the soil is moderately moist. At the same time, you can remove the harness and take out the pegs that supported the Irg.

Now we pass to the fertilizer irgi.

  1. Summer fertilizers are best spent in the evening after the rain. Use ammonium nitrate (50 grams per bush) or 10% bird droppings (5 liters per 1 bush).
  2. Beginning from the age of four, the land around the irgi should be fertilized. To do this, step back from the main trunk 30 cm, add a mixture of 1 bucket of humus, 300 grams of superphosphate and 20 grams of potassium, chlorine-free fertilizer. These procedures for care of the Irga are best done in the spring.

Finally, let's talk a little about pruning, which must be started 2 years after planting.

  1. In order not to harm the plant, try to do all the circumcision procedures in the early spring. At this time, the tree was still not quite awake from the winter hibernation and the juice did not begin to flow along the trunk.
  2. Crop in the first year you need vertically growing shoots. Visually decrease the branch by ΒΌ from the length that grew last year and cut it.
  3. In the following years, trim the side branches of the irgi - so you will be able to provoke its growth in breadth.
  4. And one more useful advice: cut the cut off the oil paint containing natural olive.
