Unfortunately, analogues of Indrovazin by composition are a rare phenomenon. The main active components of the gel, Indomethacin and Troxerutin, are used in the same exact combination only in the preparation Troxsevenol. This means, in contrast to the Bulgarian Indovazin, is quite cheap, as it is produced in our country.
Instructions for the gel Indovazin practically does not limit the conditions of application of the preparation. It should be applied to the skin in the amount of 1-2 cm several times a day. The maximum daily dose is 20 cm, but even this amount will not cause too much harm, since the drug practically does not enter the blood. In addition, this non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug is so effective that it is rarely necessary to use more than 5 cm of medication a day.
The course of treatment should not exceed 10 days, but more often the complete cure comes much faster. If there is no relief during this period, you should immediately consult a doctor.
If Indovazin is assigned to you as part of a complex therapy for thrombophlebitis, or varicose veins, its use can be translated into a permanent basis. Usually prolonged treatment is not accompanied by any unpleasant consequences.
As contraindications are indicated:
- individual intolerance to the components of the drug;
- the presence of wounds, cuts, scratches on the skin;
- use of other anti-inflammatory drugs;
- pregnancy up to the 3rd trimester.
Also, avoid getting the gel in the eyes and mucous membranes. In this case, you should immediately wash off Indovazin with cold water. Usually, Indovazin is well tolerated, it does not affect the speed of decision making and the ability to manage transport. In some cases, the drug causes urticaria, especially often this is observed in children, but irritation on the skin is immediately after the drug is discontinued.
Analogues of the gel of Indovazin
Since Troxerutin, which is part of the drug, strengthens the walls of the capillaries and normalizes blood circulation, reducing swelling, analogues of Indovazin can be considered to have agents that have a similar effect. First of all, these are ointments:
- Troxsegel;
- Troxerutin;
- Troxevasin;
- Pantavenol;
- Indowvenol;
- Venoruton.
You can also use drugs containing rutin, in the form of tablets. This is all known Ascorutin and other similar means. Anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect of Indovazin provides indomethacin, which is contained in such ointments:
- Indomethacin ;
- Indoene;
- Indocollar;
- Indowis;
- Indocide;
- Indotard.
You can also use any non-steroidal drug in tablets.
