Crab salad with tomatoes

Of course, it's great if you have the opportunity to make a salad of real crab meat. In this case, the crab is boiled in slightly salted water until the final redness, after which it is slightly cooled in the broth, and the meat is cut and extracted, with which it is possible to make various very delicious salads. The meat of a natural crab is better not to combine with tomatoes, as their tastes will compete. It is better to use other ingredients with less distinct colors and flavors than tomatoes. Well suited for this marinated or boiled asparagus, endive, chicory, leek, young olives, capers, various kinds of green salad leaves, fragrant herbs and some other ingredients.

Sauce for filling such salads is better to make in the classical Mediterranean (olive oil, natural fruit vinegar, lemon juice, mustard) or in the Far Eastern style (soy sauce, sesame oil, lemon or lime juice, pepper, garlic).

Currently, the majority of the population in the post-Soviet space understands the "crab" popular salad of so-called crab sticks and canned corn, sometimes with the addition of tomatoes, boiled eggs, cheese and some other ingredients. "Crab" sticks (fish product surimi) to taste, indeed, resemble crab meat.

Chicken eggs are hard-boiled, chilled, cleaned from the shell and finely chopped (or cut into eggs). From a can of corn with salt liquid. Peeled onions, we cut a quarter of the rings, and the sweet pepper - a short thin straw. Tomatoes chop small slices. Garlic is sold through a press or crushed with a knife. You can also add grated hard cheese.

All the ingredients are mixed in a salad bowl, add the mayonnaise (and preferably yogurt) and mix. Garnish with greenery. To such a salad you can serve vodka, light table wine or beer. Crab salad with tomatoes is ready!

If you want to make a salad, it's easier, exclude corn from the recipe (it can be replaced with boiled rice).
