1. Armed with acrylic paints for the batik and a brush, and also prepare a large paper clip. As an initial material will act a cut of cotton fabric, which must be washed or simply wet and squeezed well.
2. Place the fabric on the table face up, then fold it down twice.
3. Now you need to bend the edges into a narrow and long strip. The upper edge bends to the middle down, and the bottom, respectively, to the middle up.
4. One end of the resulting strip is bent in the form of a triangle, then turn the fabric and bend it in the same way again. Alternating these actions, we add the entire strip of the "accordion". This way of folding is the most popular in knotted batik. In addition to it, the fabric can be tied with threads and cords, fixed with clothespins or use other improvised means to insulate certain areas of the material from the paint.
5. From the corrugated cardboard, cut out two triangles that are slightly smaller than the folded fabric. Wrap them with adhesive tape, so that in the future the paint does not permeate the cardboard. Attach these pieces from both sides to the folded accordion fabric and secure with a clamp.
6. Acrylic paints for batik are used in the knot technique. Very beautiful look works done in close to each other's tones. For example, take a green, blue, blue and violet paint. Wet the brush and paint two opposite corners in different colors.
7. The third angle is painted in blue, and the tip of the fabric - in dark purple.
8. In this form, leave the fabric to dry for a day. You can carefully place it on the radiator. Then remove the clip, remove the cardboard and unfold the product, and if necessary, dry it with a hair dryer.
9. Dry the dry cloth well with an iron.
10. When painting the fabric with your own hands in the style of knotted batik, it is recommended to wash the product once again, so that the remaining paint is washed and later not shed.
11. Now the dyed fabric needs to be sewn into the finished product. Use a sewing machine and an overlock.

In addition to pillow cases, in the technique of nodal batik you can decorate T-shirts, skirts, T-shirts and any other clothes.
