There is no man in the world who would not dream of becoming a musketeer in his childhood. Even modern children, despite the fashionable images of Batman and Spiderman, wish to reincarnate into a brave French aristocrat warrior from the century before last. New Year is a holiday when the most cherished dreams come true. Despite the visual complexity, the children's spectacular New Year's costume of the Musketeer with their own hands is quite simple. Even a beginner seamstress for a couple of free evenings will sew a wide cape-cloak, make a smart collar and cuffs for the carnival costume of the musketeer. How to sew a musketeer costume?
A smart shirt to sew is not necessary. You can take a plain shirt (white or pastel color). Pants for a suit should be picked up usual, dark. But a wide cloak-cape with a collar trimmed with lace lace, we'll do it ourselves.

The length and width are 5 cm smaller in size than the corresponding sides of the first rectangle. The second part is divided exactly in half.
- We sew the main part of the cape with a silver or golden edging.
- Fold the base of the cape in half, aligned on the fold, carefully cut out the neck. We make it not too deep to fit well under the collar of the shirt.
- On the back of the cape we make an incision so that the head of the boy passes freely, and we sew up the zipper. The neck is treated with the same edge as the edges of the cloak.
- We overlay the sleeve top and sew on it. From the satin ribbon appliktivno we sew crosses: the sizes are more on a breast and a back, a little bit less - on sleeves. You can not sew crosses on sleeves.
- We begin sewing the collar. To do this, we cut out the rectangle so that the collar is slightly elongated. We sweep, and then we spend on the sewing machine 3 sides of the collar, we turn and iron. The edges of the not sewn side of the collar are smoothed inside and weed out. On the perimeter we sew lace-lace (except for the part where the collar will be fastened to the neck). We sew the collar to the cloak.

The children's carnival costume of the musketeer will be incomplete without important attributes - hats, swords and jackboots.
