Two-sided patterns for scarves

If you decide to tie a pretty winter scarf, pay attention to a variety of patterns that knit with knitting needles. For products such as snobs or scarves, two-sided patterns are ideally suited, since they look the same both from the wrong side and from the front. Due to their use, the edges of the knitted fabric are not wrapped, but such knitting looks very worthy.

To similar patterns it is possible to carry an elastic (1х1, 2х2, etc.). And we will consider some more interesting schemes of two-sided patterns, which are tied with knitting needles.

Knitting with double-sided patterns - popular patterns

The pattern "Pearl" has an original relief structure. It is elastic enough, and it is very easy to knit. Pearl pattern involves alternating face and purl loops, and its rapport covers two loops horizontally and as many vertically, as is clear from the figure. This double-sided openwork pattern with spokes is most suitable for elegant women's scarves.

The pattern "Rice" has a similar relief structure, but somewhat smaller. Each even row of it is knitted according to the pattern, and the odd ones, in turn, are shifted to the left by one loop. After five rows, the pattern repeats itself, beginning with the very first row of loops.

The pattern "Chess" looks like a chess field, delineated by squares. To create a pattern alternating through 2 cells, you need to tie in turn two face, two purl, then again two facial. The second row is exactly the same, but in the third, the knitting changes according to the pattern: two purl, two facial and two again purl. The fourth row repeats the third, and as a result your pattern will resemble the cells of the chessboard. "Chess" is of different sizes: 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, etc. The more the number of identical loops being tied in succession, the larger the cells and the more expressive the pattern itself.

The pattern "Polish rubber band" is quite unusual. With his help, knitted elastic scarves, and the very principle of knitting is very easy to master. The main thing to remember is that the number of loops in the rapport must always be a multiple of 4. The first loop is the wrong one, then there are three consecutive faces, and again - the purl and three facial ones. The second row is knitted like this: two purl, one obverse, three purlins, one obverse and one purl. The third row duplicates the first, and the fourth is identical to the second.
