Cross-stitch embroidery

Previously, cross stitching, smoothing and other handicraft techniques were often used to decorate decor elements (pillows, blankets, towels). Now it is being done less and less, but there are some interesting ways to decorate pillows, applying old knowledge. Master-class №1: Children's pillow with cross-stitch

It will take:

  1. We measure the sides of our embroidery, having deviated from the edge 2-3 cm at the seam. It turned out: width - 15 cm, length 30 cm.
  2. We make a pattern according to this scheme. The width of each piece is 10 cm and the lower length is 47.5 cm. We cut out and get the following patterns:
  3. We fold the fabric in half and cut out two such details on the patterns.
  4. Having made allowances for seams on 1 sm, we spread them around a border with drawing.
  5. We spend the details, then we sew the rim and smooth the seams.
  6. We measure the resulting part and from the fabric we cut out a rectangle with the same parameters.
  7. We sew them from the wrong side, leaving a small hole through which we fill the sintepon, and then we sew it.

The pillow is ready!

Such a sofa cushion can be made absolutely with any cross-stitch embroidery.

Master-class №2: Cross-stitch embroidery on the pillow

It will take:

  1. We prikalyvayem paper to the pillow and start over it on the cells to embroider the pattern, using the technique of cross stitch.
  2. After the drawing is finished, very carefully remove the paper from under the thread, for this it is better to cut it first, and then tear it away in small pieces.

The pillow is ready!

In this way, any pattern or ornament can be made on the pillow with an embroidery cross.

Master-class №3: Cushion cushion embroidered with a cross

It will take:

  1. On a square of black fabric, we place vertical and horizontal lines so that a grid with squares with sides of 1 cm is obtained.
  2. Using a punch hole at the intersection of the lines, we make holes. From the edge it is necessary to retreat for 2 cm, for stitching. As a result, we must have a perforated canvas.
  3. Let's embroider the yellow letters with the yellow thread - greeting "Hi". By the size of our square, we cut out 2 pieces for the pillow from the green fabric.
  4. Sew all three parts at the same time, and then fill it with sintepon. The pillow is ready!
