Santa Claus from the sock

She recently touched the children's socks, it turned out that many of them were left alone and it would be time to throw them away, but it became a pity, and then I decided to make Santa Claus for the New Year . The socks were exactly white and red, just for this craft.

Santa Claus from socks - master class

For work we need:

How to make Santa Claus from the sock:

  1. We take a white socks and cut off the part above the heel.
  2. From the wrong side, we fix one edge with an elastic band (you can sew it with a needle and thread) and turn out the sock. We fill the socks with a filler and tie the second edge with an elastic band.
  3. Red nosochek cut in half.
  4. From a white terry toe, cut two strips and sew them to the edges of the red rectangle. We put on the resulting fur coat on the toe with filler.
  5. We make a hat. From a white terry toe we cut two stripes, one smaller, the other for a bubo. We sew a small strip to the remaining piece of a red sock.
  6. A large strip on one side is picked up with a needle and thread, we put a little filler in and take it on the other side, sew on the top of the red socks.
  7. We put on a hat for Santa Claus.
  8. Sew on the black buttons in the eye area, and the red around the nose.
  9. From the white terry toe, we cut off another piece for the beard. Using scissors, make small incisions and sew a beard to Santa Claus.

If you do not have a filler for a toy, you can use rice or other cereals, and besides, Santa Claus will be more stable. On the sides, you can sew small handles and then there will be something to strengthen the bag with gifts and a staff.

So our work is ready - an unusual Santa Claus made to his hands from a sock.
