Scrapbooking album from envelopes - a step-by-step master class with a photo

Family, personal, children's, portrait - all this about photosessions, which have already become a mandatory and undoubtedly a pleasant place for replenishing the family archive with beautiful photos. As a rule, these images are prepared in advance, carefully thinking through the image and choosing a place. That's why I want to pick up a decent "clothes" for beautiful pictures. It would seem that now a lot of different albums for every taste, but you want the most - the most, one that would meet all the wishes. And it would be nice if the album will occupy a minimum of space - after all for several years, many people accumulate about a dozen (or even more) different images in their archive. Today I will tell you how to make a small album of envelopes in the technique of scrapbooking, designed for 14 photos.

Album from envelopes scrapbooking - a master class

I created this album for the New Year photo shoot in Russian style, so the colors and decorations correspond to the theme.

Necessary tools and materials:

What to do:

  1. Cut cardboard and paper - parts from kraft paper and colored cardboard for 7 pieces.
  2. Biguem (pushing the seat of the folds) foundation. Where the album will be folded, we make a scoring 8-10 times every 2 mm.
  3. From the fabric we sew the whole fabric - 60% of the colored fabric and 40% of the plain fabric.
  4. To the basis we glue the sintepon and cut off the excess.
  5. Then we will tighten our base with a cloth so that the front part will have the whole monophonic part of the canvas and a little colored.
  6. Stitch the cover. Stitch several stitches at a distance of 5 mm in the center and in the place of the lateral bend.
  7. We compose the composition and sequentially sew all the details (except for the chipboard) and add the brads in the corners.
  8. Next, install the eyelets and pass them in an elastic band, and hide the elastic band on the wrong side.
  9. We make the inner part of the album. the width of the sheet was not enough, I just cut off the missing piece and pasted it to the main one, and then all this was pasted and pasted to the substrate with glue.
  10. For reliability, we put the foundation under the press (I play the role of the press box with magazines) and start creating envelopes.
  11. Details of kraft paper folded in half, and then bend 1 cm of paper on the sides, forming envelopes.
  12. Stitched envelopes on three sides, and then glued together. Glue the center part without touching the edges.
  13. If desired, you can also process the upper envelope with the help of sprays and add impressions.
  14. I decided to slightly tighten the edges - for this I bent and sewed a strip, which was originally laid in the length of the base. If you decide to abandon it, then from the original length subtract 3 cm.
  15. Now we glue the structure from the envelopes to the base.
  16. Photos I just pasted on the backing on both sides and proshila.
  17. Finally, add corners and paste the chipboard.

Here we have such a beautiful, convenient and compact album. By the way, I designed two winter photo sessions at once - it's quite convenient to do several similar albums at the same time.
