Kate Middleton and Prince William in Canada: the fifth day of the tour

Prince William and his wife Keith Middleton continue to travel across Canada. And if the previous days they were dedicated to communicating with public and charitable organizations, conversations on different social topics, yesterday the future monarchs dedicated a day to walking in nature.

Visiting the museum in the town of Whitehorse and talking with writers

From the very morning the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went to Whitehorse, the largest city in the northwest of Canada in the province of Yukon. There, the royal couple was waiting for an excursion to the McBride Museum, which tells the story of the pore of the "gold rush." Kate and Uyalm showed the equipment used by gold prospectors and much more, but the greatest attention of the monarch's family was drawn to the old telegraph of the year 1900. 90-year-old Doug Bell, a telegraph operator who worked all his life on telegraph, specially came to his former workplace to talk with Kate and William and get a message for them.

Further, the monarchs went to a meeting with local children and writers. While they were going to their destination, they had to pay attention to local residents who lined up in a long corridor. Kate and William cute talked with people, took gifts from them and took pictures.

As soon as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sat on a bench in the form of a log to communicate with writers, they read an interesting story "Grandmother". It was specially written for the inhabitants of the southern Yukon by the writer Lorein Allen. However, all this was very interesting, until the monarchs heard that the main character of the story is the moose of William. This coincidence greatly surprised William and very amused Kate, who for a long time could not concentrate on the conversation.

The cold climate did not prevent the Duchess of Cambridge from looking bright and elegant. Kate showed the public a red coat from the brand Carolina Herrera and shoes from the Tod's trademark.

Drive to the town of Carcross

After dinner, the royal couple again went to a meeting. This time Kate and William arrived in the town of Carcross, where they already prepared a tour of the railway, a bicycle tour through the local forests and an introduction to the Tagisians.

And the second half of the day just began with the last. Tagish is the oldest nation in the world, which still lives in the place of its ancestors. They played before the royal couple a presentation in which it was told about the history of this people and their customs. Next, Kate and William went to the railway, where they were shown an old train. After this, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge could be seen on Mount Montana. It is considered to be the best place for mountain biking. Knowing Kate's great passion for this sport, she, like William, offered bicycles for a walk.

For the trip to Carcross, the Duchess wore a gray cardigan from the local Sentaler brand, black jeans and brown suede Cossacks.
